BDW1

BDW Homes have installed 20mph speed signs throughout BDW1 to improve safety for residents throughout Darwin Green. Additionally, white lining has been painted at the junction intersections to enhance road markings and further improve road safety.

Temporary Windsor Road Footpath Link

In response to feedback received from the local community following the opening of the temporary Windsor Road footpath link, BDW Homes have painted additional white lining on the footpath at the junction of Windsor Road which includes “SLOW” to advise users when leaving the footpath and joining Windsor Road.

Following investigations, BDW are pleased to confirm that they will be undertaking works to the footpath lights to change them from solar power to mains electric, which will be complete by Friday 10th November.

Demolition works

BDW Homes would like to reiterate that the demolition plans are still waiting to be determined by the Local Authority and demolition of the affected homes on BDW2 will not take place until these plans have been approved and a further update will be provided once these have been agreed.
